The Communication

1. the process by which an individual (the communicator) transmits stimuli to modify the behavior of other individuals (the audience)

2. all of the procedures by which one mind can affect  another

(Warren Weaver)

•       Verbal Communication

•      Non Verbal Communication

Non Verbal Communication : Communication process which consists of all signaling systems that do not use words. (Louis Forsdale. 1981:181)

1. Body modes of nonverbal communication (body movement, posture, body orientation, eye contact, changes in pupil size, odor, touch, body heat, shifts in skin color, spacing, uses of clothing and body decoration)

2. Communication of genetic characteristics, which are considered by  some scholars as nonverbal communication.

3.Various art forms and media such as painting, architecture, music, film, ballet, and mime.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

•      a non verbal communication

•      A kind of communication which is using a form of visual medium, like make a poster, type a letter, create a business logo, a magazine ad, an album cover, or even a computer printout.

1. A creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas through visual medium.

2. Is a part of human daily life.(from a small gum wrapper to a huge billboard)
